I am a BACP registered, qualified integrative counsellor based in Essex.
As a fellow PMDD sufferer, I truly understand the many ways this can interfere and present challenges in life and I hope to be able to offer validation and support for the many other women out there who struggle with the impact PMDD has on their life. Although I don’t claim to live your exact experiences, I certainly have a deep level of understanding and an abundance of empathy for the mental and physical challenges PMDD can bring.
I aim to offer a safe, non-judgemental and empathic space to anyone seeking support. Whether you are looking for someone to talk to and understand you, are aiming to work through past or current difficulties, want to raise self-awareness, want to discover tools to support overall well-being or are seeking to improve your relationship with self or others I can help.
Counselling can be life changing and I love to experience the growth people achieve when they commit to giving themselves time to work through the things they find challenging in life. Learning to love and accept myself and work through the hurdles I have experienced changed my own life drastically for the better, and it can do the same for you.

Hi, I’m Tamsin!
I have been working as a counsellor for the past 12 years. I trained at the University of Brighton and then worked in various agencies and schools in the city before setting up my private practice.
For the last 4 years I have been living and working in New York! I’ve really enjoyed working with clients from a different cultural background and have had the opportunity to appreciate the unique issues that come with living in America.
I am deeply invested in helping people find their way through difficult situations and moments in their life. As a woman, I have grown increasing concerned about the lack of support women and AFAB individuals are offered around hormonal issues and changes. The help available falls short of what is needed which is why I was delighted to be able to work with Luna Hub in this vital and under represented space.
Whilst I predominately use the person centred approach, I will draw on other techniques, such as CBT, mindfulness and focusing, if that is appropriate. I believe it is important to address all elements of ourselves, body, mind and sprit, to help address the issues and feelings that have become intrusive and unhelpful.
Therapeutic change can only occur when the relationship with the client and therapist is trusting and transparent which is why it is so important for our relationship to be at the centre of the work we do. I will work hard to ensure you feel comfortable to explore your life and concerns with me.
How Does it Work?
It’s really easy to book therapy through Luna Hub. Simply choose the therapist you’d like to work with and click ‘book now’. You’ll be taken to our secure booking system where you’ll pay for and choose your appointment time. Your appointment details and Zoom link will be sent to you in an email and your therapist might get in touch before your first session to say hello!
In your first appointment, your therapist will spend some time getting to know you and how they can support you. This will involve a short health questionnaire – but don’t worry, all of our therapists know about PMDD so you won’t have to spend time explaining it to them! After your first session, you can book and pay for future appointments directly through your therapist.
